Project Red Moon designs, constructs and sews each individual pad. Although our mission is geared toward menstruation, our pads can also be used for light incontinence and diaper inserts.
Materials

Materials used to construct our washable pads consist of a topper, a core and a waterproof moisture barrier fabric. We proudly use sustainable materials and all products made by PRMI are FREE of PFAS, PFOS & PFOA's.

Topper Fabric

Core
This is where things get interesting! Our core layer can consist of cotton, fleece or Terry fabric along with ZORB. Zorb is a wonderful material that natural and a complete workhorse when it comes to absorbing fluids. Zorb not only absorbs quickly and efficiently, its thin technology works to reduce compression leaks making this a must have in diaper inserts, towel/cleaning cloths, medical garments and many other creative uses by DIY enthusiasts.
Waterproof Barrier
Polyurethane film, or PUL fabric, serves as our final layer, offering a highly versatile waterproof barrier. Known for its durability, this fabric ensures long-lasting liquid barrier performance, making it an ideal choice for various applications. Whether you're looking to protect against spills or maintain dryness, PUL fabric delivers reliable protection you can count on.
